How To: Play Omaha Hi Poker

5. After the flop and moving forward, betting begins with the player to the dealer’s left, who may check or bet.
6. A fourth card is deal onto the board. This is called fourth street or the turn card.
7. Another round of betting occurs.
8. The final card is dealt face up. This card is also called fifth street or the river.
9. A final round of betting occurs and the remaining players show their cards. To make their final five-card hand, players must use two of their four hole cards and three of the cards on the board. Players can use any two cards from the hole and any three cards from the board, but it must be exactly two from the hole cards and three from the board to make the best five-card hand.
The key difference between Omaha and Texas Hold ‘Em is in the way the cards are played. The rest: the betting order, the way cards are played on the board, is identical with the exception of the number of cards offered. Omaha can require different strategies but can also be very rewarding to players who take the time to master the game.
